My son has been in preschool for almost two years now and will be going to kindergarten in September. I cannot tell you how many times he has come home with someone else’s jacket and backpack. I am not really sure how this happens since he has his own cubby but it does happen at least 2-3 times a school year. He also likes to bring in his toy cars and trucks to school. This can be a huge problem if you have a forgetful child who puts their stuff down and walks away to another item that catches their eye. Once that toys is mixed in with the school toys or if another child brings it home you can pretty much kiss it goodbye (lost a brand new Transformer that way) The first year of preschool has taught me many lessons. This year, I fought back with customized labels from LabelDaddy!

Before I found these labels, I was using a Sharpie marker to write my sons name on his stuff. It worked well on certain items but I was ruining more items than protecting them, How are you supposed to write your kids name on his gloves? I decided to try out the  school pack  since I was having such a hard time keeping my kid’s stuff with my kid. I was a bit skeptical at first because of the claims that these labels were dishwasher, washer, dryer and microwave safe. I figured they would stay on for a bit then fall off but it was worth a try. I ordered the CARS style  because it is my sons favorite and lets face it, pretty cool. There are many styles to choose from to fit any child’s likes or hobbies. Ordering was fast and easy. I filled in my basic info that I wanted printed on my labels and was able to see how my label looked with my exact info (if you choose the Disney style, this feature is not available).

My labels arrived a few days later and I was so excited to try them out. I put them on everything: jackets, shoes, backpack and cups. I fell in love with the zipper tags the second I saw them. They are super cute and can be clipped on to anything with a zipper pull or loop. Remember my glove problem? Not a problem any more! I put one on his backpack, jacket and his gloves. If my son dropped any of these items you better believe the teacher would know who these items belonged to!!!

Most of the items have been either worn or washed several times and I am happy to report that every label remains intact and as beautiful as the first day I put  them on. I don’t know how these labels are staying on fleece items but they are still hanging on strongly!!
